The Avenue Dental mini residency program was some of the best professional development and mentoring I could have hoped for as a new graduate. Steve, Eli and the team are extremely experienced at presenting information and I felt it was exactly what I needed after graduating. Each session built on the previous and as the year went on I found myself feeling more confident using the skills I had taken away from the program.
The relaxed attitudes and presentation styles really encouraged group participation and discussion to the point that I felt like there was always time for even the simplest question. I would highly recommend the mini residence program to any students looking for high quality continuing education and mentorship

This time last year I was considering applying for the ADGOTY program, and as a 2015 finalist now halfway through the mini residency, I’m so glad I did! The team at Avenue Dental are very approachable and deliver a targeted, well structured, jam-packed program which has helped to guide my path post-graduation. I have particularly enjoyed the practical tips and tricks that I have been able to take straight back to work and implement. Most of all, the program has helped me to overcome my new grad jitters, and inspired me to do dentistry better. I’m very grateful to Avenue Dental for providing this stepping stone to launch me into my dental career. Eli and Steve are some of the most genuinely kind and generous people you will meet in dentistry. The Avenue Dental Mini-residency has been such a great place to be during this first year of my career. The guys have spent hours and hours putting together the workshop days for us and they are extremely relevant for first year practice. Apart from the amazing content itself, the learning environment is what really shines with this program. To be able to spend a day with other motivated new graduates from around the country who are encountering both similar and different issues to you in their respective first years of practice is invaluable. We all get to talk together and discuss cases and ideas with each other and the Avenue dental crew. I could go on but I've probably broken the formatting for this webpage already. Just apply! So worth it.

"Steve and Eli have put together a wonderful program for the mini residency, giving us fantastic hints and techniques. Topics such as posterior composites, crowns and treatment planning have allowed me to improve and expand my skills set. The Avenue Dental mini residency program has been a great way to meet other new graduates from around Australia and discuss our cases and learn from each other. It has been a wonderful program to help transition to full time work, and well worth the 5+ hours travel time it takes me to get there!

It has been an honour and a pleasure to experience the mini-residency program offered by Avenue Dental. The delivery of the course material by Steve and Eli were by far some of the most engaging and eye-opening lectures I have attended in my years studying Pharmacy and Dentistry.
While the entire program has been an amazing experience, my favourite aspect has been the case studies and the discussions around them. It is refreshing to see clinicians being open and honest with their cases. The good. The bad. The un-aesthetic. The boys don’t just showcase cherry-picked successful cases – they also displayed the cases that were not ideal and pinpointed where and when things go wrong and how to avoid them.
The awesome combination of worldly clinical wisdom mixed with a fun and relaxed atmosphere helped encourage myself and other young graduates to participate in these case studies and cemented valuable clinical knowledge that is not taught at university.
And the cake is pretty good too.
