I have found the Avenue Dental mini residency to be an extremely beneficial learning experience early on in my dental career. The topics covered have been clinically relevant and evidence based, and the one on one practical supervision has been very useful in refining my clinical skills. The learning environment is relaxed and participation in the teaching process is encouraged. Overall the course has given me the confidence and clinical proficiency to expand my clinical knowledge and scope of practice in my professional practice.

Big thanks to Steve, Steve and Eli for another fantastic workshop. It was obvious that they had spent a lot of time putting together suitable material and case based learning scenarios for discussion. Everything that was taught was relevant to my current practice of dentistry, and there was a large emphasis on patient-centric care. The boys were eager to share their knowledge (which was a lot!) and to pass on tips and tricks from a practical aspect. Coming from the public healthcare system, it was refreshing to discuss complex treatment and a more holistic approach to managing each patient. Overall, what really stood out for me was the approach ability and willingness to teach that encompassed each speaker, and the one on one guidance that was offered. I would definitely recommend this program for graduates looking to open their minds and those looking to build on existing skills.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to take part in the Avenue Dental mini residency program during 2015. The theoretical component was well structured and informative and the presenters were highly entertaining making each day enjoyable. The hands on component was also extremely beneficial as it has helped me improve my practical skills and increased my confidence, making me overall a better clinician. I believe that the program has been invaluable in easing my transition from student to practicing dentist

I cannot thank the team at Avenue Dental enough for all they have done for us. The mini residencies they have run so far have been incredibly beneficial and relevant for new graduates. Their willingness to share their successes as well as cases they could have improved slightly shows their honesty and genuine interest in helping us. After graduating I moved up to Rockhampton for work but there's no way this will stop me from flying down for the rest of the sessions. These guys are offering some of the best CPD available for new graduates, for free.
